Build quality is the honest answer. The Boulder 200 uses tempered glass and an anodized aluminum frame that feels like it was designed by people who expect you to drop it off a tailgate. The briefcase design folds in half for transport, and the integrated kickstand deploys without tools to set an optimal sun angle. Everything clicks, latches, and locks with satisfying precision.

Skip it if value matters to you at all. The Renogy 200W monocrystalline delivers equivalent output at half the price with a longer warranty and lighter weight. The Goal Zero brand tax is real, and unless you are specifically buying into their ecosystem, you are paying double for build quality that most people will never stress-test. Your money goes further elsewhere.
